Western Wood Structures offers pre-engineered heavy timber trusses to meet any designer's specific needs.  Trusses can be constructed from glulam or solid sawn timber, depending on the preference of the client.  Timber trusses can be designed to many shapes and styles, and clear-spans up to 200 feet are possible.  Owners may select a design using exposed steel side plates or concealed connections.  Trusses are designed to meet all local building code requirements, including One Hour Fire Resistive or Type IV Heavy Timber construction.

WWS prefabricated the trusses for this covered play structure prior to preservative treatment and assembled them following treatment.

WWS designed and prefabricated the heavy timber roof structure for the entrance of this new Marriott Hotel in Vail, Colorado.  The trusses were fabricated and assembled in the WWS fabrication shop.  Some of the timber beams were as large as 12 x 20.  The roof is sheathed by 4" Laminated Decking.

WWS designed and supplied the glulam scissors trusses for this remodeled building in the Mt. Hood National Forest.

The intricate glulam framing system was prefabricated and test fit prior to export to Japan.  The hardware was powder coated to prevent construction stains.

WWS supplied the glulam and 2" roof deck for the new entrance canopy of this store in Vancouver, WA.  The trusses were fabricated and assembled in the plant prior to shipment for ease of erection.
