The graceful glulam arches on this vehicle bridge span 129’.  The floor beams extend to support a 4’-0” walkway.

Bridge Type: Cable Stayed

This award-winning cable stayed bridge is 475’ overall and 252’ between the concrete towers.  The 13 truss sections were prefabricated and trial assembled prior to pressure treating to insure proper fit at the jobsite.

Western Wood Structures designed and erected this covered bridge for the City of Portland when area neighbors requested an aesthetically pleasing replacement for the bridge of Johnson Creek.  The roof of the bridge uses glulam tudor arches and heavy timber decking.
